Andrea & Jon // J&D Farms Wedding

Andrea & Jon (#JONDREA) are two very creative individuals.  Their creativity shined throughout their whole wedding day, which took place at the lovely J&D Farms in Southside, Alabama.  The fruit tree orchard was a perfect setting for the ceremony.  The orchard made the ceremony more romantic and intimate.

The reception was held inside and around J&D farms very nice barn. Andrea & John provided games, food and dancing for the guest to enjoy all evening. Jon had created silhouettes of himself and Andrea to be used as logos on wedding decorations.

We loved...

Andrea & Jon's obsession and passion for all things Disney and movies.  They had vintage Disney cartoons playing on a big screen by the pool during cocktail hour.

Andrea & Jon enjoy a brief moment to themselves and take in some of a cartoon.

They all had Mickey Mouse ears to wear around during the day with their names embroidered on them.

Jon rode a bicycle down the aisle to the E.T. soundtrack instead of just walking down the aisle. It was awesome and epic.

Halloween themed decorations added to the fun atmosphere of the wedding.  Carved pumpkins lined the walkway to the barn. They had pumpkin checkers.  An Orange candy bar and candy apples to name a few of the many details.

Most of all, we loved how Andrea & Jon interacted.  They both light up and relax when they are together.  It's really cute to watch.  We love that they have fun together. We love that they encourage each other to be creative.

We wish Andrea & Jon all the best as they begin their new life together.

Jasmine & Jonathan // Sonnet House Wedding

Jasmine and Jonathan were married at the Sonnet House on a beautiful Sunday afternoon.

We loved ...

… Jasmine's time with her bridesmaids. Jasmine and her bridesmaids had so much fun hanging out and reminiscing as they got ready. With a great soundtrack playing and mimosas, it was the perfect time to relax and take the whole day in. It's important to surround yourself with your closest friends. And, don't miss the opportunity for a group toast!

… Their first dance. Jasmine and Jonathan smiled their entire first dance! Of course, they were smiling and enjoying every moment the entire day!

… Going to the hotel after the wedding. Jasmine and Jonathan stayed at The Tutwiler after their wedding. We followed them back there and grabbed some footage of them with their getaway car and in front of the hotel. We also got some fun shots of them jumping on the bed that was in their feature film.

Congratulations Jasmine and Jonathan!

Thanh + David // The Sonnet House

Thanh called us a couple of weeks before their wedding because they had decided they really wanted a wedding film. Thanh's smile and energy just radiated through the phone and we instantly wanted to be a part of their wedding! Of course when we found out her wedding included some of our favorite people in Birmingham, The Sonnet House and Simple Color (Brandon & Stacey Gresham), we knew the day would be great!

We loved ...

... that Thanh and David have been together since high school (they are now med students at UAB)! They were both a little nervous before the first time they saw each other, but once they were together they both relaxed. They fit together so well, like best friends should.

... the coming together of their two families! Thanh's family and Vietnamese heritage blended perfectly with David's family. Throughout the day, all four of their parents were after together dancing, laughing and even sharing a few happy tears. It is so beautiful to see two families truly became one!

... how gorgeous Thanh was! Seriously, she could not have been more picturesque. And her smile lit up the whole place!

... the ringbearer Knight! He was seriously the most excited (and cutest) ringbearer Knight we have ever seen. He took his job very seriously and was going to save the princess. :)

... the vintage car they left in! The 1959 Jaguar Mark IX Saloon from Coats Classic Cars made for a gorgeous getaway.

Lauren + James // Atlanta Wedding Video

Here's a little secret ... any couple who introduces us to super tasty restaurants will always hold a special place in our hearts. When we were making plans to meet up with Lauren and James, she immediately emailed back that she "had a great place in mind." A couple of weeks later, we were meeting them at Ria's Bluebird in east Atlanta. By the end of breakfast, we had barely discussed their wedding and Matt and I wished we had not split a plate. (Amazing food!!)

Now, on to the wedding day.  We loved ...

... the way James looked at Lauren! I heard James throughout the day talk about how beautiful Lauren was. He was completely smitten with his beautiful bride.

... that they were just themselves! One of my favorite moments was right before they were introduced. Lauren and James broke out into a "rock pose" then walked on the dance floor and ballroom danced. They were just fun!

... their surprise "Just Married" sign! Lauren and James have a Boston Terrier named Benson. So, their wedding party had a custom made "Just Married" sign with a Boston Terrier bride and groom. Besides being SO cute, it was very sweet and thoughtful.

Congratulations Lauren and James!
