We had been anxiously awaiting Jessica and Tyler's wedding! They were our first wedding of 2012 and we were having wedding withdrawals. Also, we had already fallen in love with them and their family from emails and phone calls!
When Tyler proposed to Jessica, he went over the top romantic and had the whole moment recorded. Jessica had let us know, the proposal video had set the bar pretty high. We gladly accepted that challenge!
Jessica and Tyler were married at a private residence in Montgomery, Alabama during sunset. The setting could not have been more romantic. There are so many amazing moments, I'll try to narrow it down to just a few.
Jessica and Tyler chose to not have a first look or to have their moment the traditional way. Instead, during the ceremony, they both rounded the corner, met, and walked down the aisle together. The moment they met and the looks on their face ... was so romantic. (See a theme with these two?)
After the ceremony, Jessica and Tyler were oblivious to their excited wedding party surrounding them. They were simply in their own world, just focused on each other. I loved when one of the flower girls announced "and they lived happily ever after"! I don't think anyone could have said it better.
A few more special touches to take note of: - Tyler's mother's speech at the beginning is an exert from the extremely sweet poem she wrote for Tyler and his bride. - Barbie and Ken were their cake topper. And seriously, don't they both look just like Barbie and Ken? - Jessica and Tyler are huge Auburn fans, so their "War Damn Wedding" sign was perfect for them.
This was the perfect way to get our 2012 wedding year kicked off!! Congratulations Jessica and Tyler!!
