Steve Jobs, You Will Be Missed

steveI never had the privilege of meeting Steve Jobs in person. However, he has had a profound impact on my life. I am not generally a star-gazer, or celebrity obsessed person, but he was an exception for me.

As an avid Mac, iPhone, iPad, and even AppleTV user, I have always looked forward to the next big thing from Apple and Steve Jobs. These devices have helped to shape my career and thus who I am. They have allowed me to create a business from nothing. I have been able to use skills that I never even knew I had. I have been inspired and have been able to inspire others. I have seen, felt, and experienced a different lifestyle.

Steve Jobs was also a very inspirational speaker who challenged his listeners to not only "think differently", but to refuse to just settle. This is something I think about daily. I'm sure he had many days where he could have just thrown in the towel. He could have given in to his fears. Had he done so, we all would have been worse off.

What if we all challenged ourselves to "think different" and strive for the absolute very best in ourselves? What if we absolutely refused to give in to our fears of rejection or ridicule? What if we succeeded?

Steve Jobs, you will be missed by millions of your fans, family, and friends. May you rest in peace forever.
